SANDY SPRINGS, GA. Signature Bank of Georgia Managing Director of SBA Lending Freddie Deutsch announced today that Susan J. Kite has joined the bank as Vice President and SBA Business Development Officer.
“We are excited to have someone with Susan’s seasoned experience in SBA and Commercial Lending,” Deutsch said. “Susan has over 26 years of banking experience that includes originating, underwriting, closing and managing loan portfolios. Her knowledge of SBA 7a, 504 and SBAExpress products will be of great benefit to our existing and new business clients.”
“I am looking forward to helping area businesses build something special with the expertise I have to offer,” Kite said. “Signature Bank’s style of “Making it Personal” is exactly the kind of relationship I like to develop and grow with my clients so this is going to be great fit. I can’t wait to get started with the Signature Bank team.”
Signature Bank of Georgia, the only community bank headquartered in Sandy Springs, ranks as one of the top performers in the state in originating SBA loans. According to the U.S. Small Business Administration, the bank ranks 16th in loans originated and 17th in total dollars generated for the period October 1, 2012 through June 30, 2013. With approximately 100 banks in the ranking, Signature Bank placed in the top 16% statewide.
“This is a terrific accomplishment for us,” said Deutsch. “As a preferred SBA lender, we are one of a select group of providers to whom the SBA delegates the final credit decision. By taking advantage of our preferred status, businesses can look forward to timely approval on loans that can increase their cash flow and lower their rates of interest while reducing their down payments at the same time. Plus, they can also take advantage of longer repayment terms.”
Prior to joining Signature Bank, Susan honed her skills at Colonial Bank, Summit National Bank, Bank South, Renasant Bank (formerly Crescent Bank) and Hamilton State Bank.
